Leather Jacket

Yesterday I went to the mall with a friend. I didn't have anything particular in mind that I needed, but of course as I was helping her look for a graduation dress I spotted the most gorgeous Michael Kors leather jacket. It looks brown in the picture but in person it has a hint of dark green in it. It fits my petite (5'3") frame perfectly, and I am beyond excited.

It is definitely a classic jacket that I can keep for years. What classic pieces can you guys not live without?

Cupcakes and Cashmere

Currently my favorite blog is Cupcakes and Cashmere. Emily has amazing style that is very easy to emulate and her posts are extremely down to earth. Some other ones I have really been liking are:

Stylitics

About a week ago, I found this awesome site called Stylitics. It allows you to look up the clothes you own to so that you can see everything in a virtual closet. If you don't find your item in their search lookup, you can take a picture of it and add it in seconds. It allows you to plan and save outfits on your calender so you can look back and see what you wore. Every users closet is private but they can edit their style profile and add pictures to show what trends they like, what is on their wish list, etc. It is such a cool site and I am definitely addicted. It helped me become more aware of what's in my closet and to easily see the cute things that I tend to forget about. Check it out! Are you going to give it a try? Let me know what you think!

Satchels

When my friend was visiting me over the weekend, he was carrying a gorgeous structured black leather bag. I asked him about it and he told me about The Cambridge Satchel Company. I looked at their website right away and I was enamored with this pink bag. They come in many different sizes though and I can't decide if I would want a small one to carry as a purse, or a slightly larger one that could hold my laptop as well. They are also so customizable. You can choose to get your initials on the bag and a top handle if you want. Which color and style is your favorite?
